E-101SYMBOL LEGEND & SCOPE OF WORK

What we install.

Power and low voltage under one license. If the panel and the data drops are on the same submittal, nobody waits on the other trade to show up.

DIVISION 26

Electrical

Building power under 600 volts. Service, distribution, branch circuits, lighting and the equipment connections everything else depends on.

  • Service and distribution
  • Panelboards and feeders
  • Branch circuits and devices
  • Lighting and controls
  • Site and parking lighting
  • EMT, MC and conduit
27 10 00

Structured cabling

Horizontal and backbone copper, certified to standard, labeled at both ends and documented so the next remodel is not archaeology.

  • Cat6 and Cat6A
  • Plenum and riser
  • Racks and ladder
  • Patch panels
  • Link certification
  • TIA-606 labeling
27 13 00

Fiber optic backbone

Single mode and multimode between buildings, IDFs and remote sites. Fusion spliced, terminated and OTDR tested both directions.

  • OS2 single mode
  • OM3 and OM4
  • Fusion splicing
  • Bore coordination
  • Innerduct and vault
  • OTDR and loss test
28 13 00

Access control

Reader and lock rough-in, controller install and programming. We coordinate frame prep with the DHI before the doors ship, not after they hang.

  • Card and mobile readers
  • Strikes and mags
  • Request to exit
  • Door position switches
  • Controller panels
  • Credential enrollment
28 23 00

Video surveillance

Camera layout, mounting, aiming and recorder configuration. We verify field of view before the drywall closes, not on the punch walk.

  • IP cameras and mounts
  • NVR and cloud
  • Storage sizing
  • Analytics setup
  • Exterior and parking
  • View verification
27 41 00

Audio, video and intercom

Classroom and conference AV, paging, and entry intercom tied to the phone and access systems so the front office can see who is at the door.

  • Displays and mounts
  • HDBaseT and AV over IP
  • Ceiling and horn speakers
  • Paging amplifiers
  • IP entry intercom
  • Bell scheduling
27 20 00

Network infrastructure

Switching, wireless and the rack it lives in. Configured in our shop before it ships, so trim-out is mounting and patching rather than troubleshooting.

  • Switches and uplinks
  • Wireless surveys
  • AP placement
  • Rack build and dress
  • UPS and power
  • VLAN and port config
E-301TYPICAL DETAILS & FIELD REFERENCE

Typical details.

The questions we field most during design are which conductor goes where and how far it can run. Pick a system and here is what we would spec.

Reference only. Actual conductor size, cable type, pathway and overcurrent protection follow the engineered drawings, the adopted NEC edition, the local AHJ and the manufacturer's requirements for the specific equipment. Send us the plans and we will tell you what the job really needs.

E-401CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE

How we run a job.

Most electrical and low voltage problems on a jobsite are schedule problems, not technical ones. Here is where we show up and what you get at each stage.

Preconstruction

Plan review, RFIs on anything ambiguous, and a bid that separates base scope from alternates so you know what you are comparing.

Submittals

Product data, shop drawings and pathway coordination turned fast, because nothing gets ordered until they come back approved.

Rough-in

Conduit, boxes, sleeves and cable before the ceiling closes. Coordinated with mechanical and fire so we are not fighting for the same chase.

Trim and test

Devices, fixtures, terminations and certification on every drop. Test results land in the closeout package, not a drawer.

Closeout

As-builts, panel schedules, test reports, warranties and training for whoever inherits the building. Then a real phone number afterward.

E-501PROJECT TYPE SCHEDULE

Who we build for.

Most of our work comes through general contractors and construction managers who have used us before and would rather not gamble on the low bid again.

Project typeTypical divisionsWhat we handle
General contractors26 / 27 / 28Ground-up and tenant improvement. We read the spec, hit the schedule, and hand over a closeout package you do not have to chase.
School districts26 / 27 / 28Campus power and fiber, classroom AV, intercom and paging, door hardware and cameras. Sequenced around the school calendar.
Municipal and public26 / 27 / 28Prevailing wage jobs, public bids and the documentation trail that goes with them. Familiar with the paperwork.
Tribal nations26 / 27 / 28Long-running work across Arizona tribal lands, including remote sites where the nearest supply house is two hours out.
Healthcare26 / 28Infection control coordination, after-hours work in occupied space, and circuits or openings that cannot be down for a day.
Nonprofit and faith26 / 27Budget-conscious buildings that still need the system to work. We tell you where to spend and where not to.
Residential26Service upgrades, remodels and additions. Covered under the residential half of the CR-11.
E-601REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Send us the plans.

Bidding something with an electrical or low voltage package? Send drawings and a due date. If we are not the right fit we will say so early enough for you to find someone else.
